How did you get into modeling? Was it your dream?

I started modeling when I was seven. I still remember how I always took my mom’s clothes and high heels and practiced diligently back then. So it has been my dream and desire since childhood – to be able to work as a model one day. When I was seven, I had the opportunity to get my first experiences and small jobs and ever since (what can I say ?!) I never wanted to stop.

Which shoot will you never forget and why?

Oh, there are so many shoots that were great. But one of my favorite jobs was in Nice. I’ve never been there before and we shot at the most beautiful locations at sunrise and sunset. I loved it! And think back to it again and again.

If you could change one thing in the world, what would it be?

I would make people happy. It´s a shame to see how unhappy many people go through life. Unhappy with her job, unhappy with the circumstances. If people were happier generally, many of the world’s problems would just vanish.

What do we find in your fridge?

Grapes (I’m absolutely addicted to them :D), old Gouda and butter. Absolute must-haves in my fridge.

Who would you like to swap your closet with?

J.Lo. ASAP!

Do you have any secret talents we should know about?

Well, I think I can sing operas quite well. Unfortunately, I’m the only one who sees it that way and everyone around me is always 100% annoyed by it 😀

Oh – and I’m good at making up songs. My whole family and also my boyfriend received an individual song from me, which I sing to them at every opportunity. They also find that rather annoying, but what the heck – that’s my sign of love 😀

Is there something you’ve been dreaming of for a long time, but never dared to do it?

Skydiving! I’m incredibly afraid of heights, but wish I dared – I think it’s a very liberating feeling.

If you weren’t modeling, what job would you like to do?

Moderator! I studied journalism and I still think moderating is just great, so I combine it with modeling as host of the podcast “Model World by Miriam” in which I chat about the world of models, give tips and insides to prospective models.
