Esther Heesch

Tell us briefly some background: How did you start modeling? Was there a special meeting that led you to where you are now?

I was “discovered” in downtown Hamburg at the end of 2011 and signed a contract with Modelwerk shortly afterwards. I was 15 at the time. My first job was the United Colors of Benetton campaign. In spring 2012 I met the casting directors Rami and Maida in Hamburg. They were the ones who booked me for my first show, the Dior Haute Couture Show in Paris, in the summer of 2012.

Are there any places that you would love to visit?

I would like to visit New Zealand next with my sister.

What does your daily beauty routine look like?

I use a daily eye cream from Dr.Hauschka and the “Iris” day and night cream from Weleda. When I use make-up, I remove my make-up in the evening with Bioderma.

Describe your style. Are there any designers that you really like to wear?

I love Stüssy, Chanel, Phillip Lim, Closed and Yeon.

What hobbies do you have?

Swimming, bike riding, reading, running, and drinking coffee.
